Is anyone else having this problem?

I’ve noticed an increasing number of guide books appearing on our now dedicated shelf.
(not sure if I should be worried by that pink book?)

Don’t get me wrong. I’m guilty of buying most of these guide books and we do use them.  But isn’t this information all freely available online? Well yeah good old Google knows everything! 

We always find though that there is little to no internet service when we want to know something. So the good old guide book comes in handy except I always manage to forget to pack them.

I have also noticed that some guide books are nicer than others. They all seem to provide pretty much the same information but some include more pictures which is always nice.
I always seem to be drawn to visit a place if there is a nice colour photo showing just how beautiful the place is. Maybe I should create a blog post for each place we visit and include my photos? Maybe I should start Vlogging?

If only I could find the time.
