As you know I love a good planning session… But we have had to change our summer holiday plans. Well kind of….

We planned a trip to the Loire Valley to do all of those things we missed and to re-visit some of the things we loved.

Well we are still doing that the only difference is we have picked up a couple of tag-alongs….lol.

A couple we meet quite regularly at rallies are coming with us. We talked about our French holidays and they said they had always wanted to go. We recommend the site that we are going to this summer as it’s owned by ex pat’s Stu & Syb, and would make things easy for them.

The next thing we know Michelle is calling me over to their van on New Year’s Eve to ask what ferry route and what time are our crossings?

Turns out she has spoken to Stu, booked the pitch next to us and is now wanting to get on the same crossing….. I feel a Convoy coming on!

So looks like we are going to be playing tour guide. I better get a bright brolly and a clip board….

Michael & Michelle will be the first victims of our tour guiding…. And probably the last..

They said that they wanted to go for the first time with someone who knows what they are doing and it’s a bonus that we all get on so well.

So Loire Valley 2019 is going to be an interesting 2 weeks in more ways than one.

I can now start planning for 4….. Ooh double the plans…. Double the planning…..

(Wonder if they like frogs legs?)……
