It’s almost time for our “Big Holiday” and this year is bigger than usual.

We are off to exactly the same place as last year but this time for longer.
I’d normally have updated you with all the exciting planning etc…. however this year we are kind of “winging it”. Yeah Right!!!

We have done all the usual plans, just not had the time to share them. We have had some major renovations at home which we have done all the work ourselves and Halys’ Dad’s Altzhimers took a turn for the worse which meant that we can no longer keep him safe at home. He has not moved to a residential home and is being looked after very well but it’s been very frustration trying to get Social Workers, Doctors and Mental Health workers to all sing from the same Hymn Sheet!

So we are off on Monday evening. We drive to Dover, cross on the 2:20 Ferry then it’s Paris, Orleon, Limoges, Montouban, Tolouse, Perpignan and Argeles Sur Mer. But I have work to do first.

I have changed our remote control lights so that we can control upto 4 LED lights individually all from one power source. We have a Fiamma Door Safe to fit, a new TyrePal system to fit and I need to replace the Motor Mover Rollers and adjust the gap between the roller any tyre and I have one evening and one day to do it all in.
I could really do with taking the van to work and putting it on the pit but I really don’t have time and the pit is busy.

 

 

So let’s hope I get it all done in time.
