You all know how much I like a good plan. Well this time I’ve excelled myself!

With less than 3 weeks to go to this year’s French Adventure, next year’s summer French jaunt is now booked, deposit paid. I even know which pitch we are on!

Is this a little excessive?

Well it all depends on where you want to go. We want to go back to Argeles Sur Mer and although the campsite of our choice is massive (1000 pitches) it sure does get booked up quick for August. In fact the other year I tried to book there were only 40 pitches available on the whole site for August and I was booking 12 months in advance!

The site is family owned so does not have the corporate feel of some of the big French sites however all of the usual suspects are represented on site, keycamp, eurocamp, French freedom etc…. All have eurotents or static caravans on site so they fill up probably a third of the pitches.

It’s one of those sites that people fall in love with. I have not met anyone who has been and have not gone back. Some people have been going over 15 years.

A guy I follow on Twitter is there right now, he has been twice before @CaravanVlogger Graham and his wife Mandy are loving the sun and French campsite entertainment…. Which is something to behold.
